Babasafe's 5-Panel Extra Wide Baby Gates and Stair Gates come in sizes ranging from Medium to XXXXL. Will fit openings 90 - 450cm but can be extended later if required. Sizing guide is below.
What comes in the box?
- Your chosen 5-Panel Baby Gate including 5 panels. Size depends on the option you choose.
- All fixtures required (*Note: You may need to obtain appropriate screws/wall plugs depending on the surface you fit to).
- 2 sets of brackets, and extra smaller set that is more useful if your banister is an unusual shape and does not have a large surface area to attach to.
- Detailed user guide.
*TIPS:
1. Choose a size a longer than your actual space so you can create an angle between each baby gate panel - that will provide more stability in case of heavy impact. This will take the pressure off the wall brackets and the gate can be free standing (Note: you still must fit the gate to the wall for full safety).
2. An extra set of wall brackets is included that may suit your banisters better. See below for details.
3. If using on the top of stairs, be aware of the trip hazard for adults and children on the bottom bar. It's best to choose a size that is a good distance back from the first step. It is not ideal to use a gate that has a trip hazard at the top of the stairs, so you should consider using a gate large enough to section off the entire area instead of just the stairs opening.
4. Both sets of brackets included come with general purpose wall plugs. More suitable wall plugs to your fixing surface may be necessary, and should be purchased separately.

No climb wall brackets that fit around skirting:
Designed to avoid the possibility of your little one getting a foothold to climb over. Screw fitted above the skirting, in 3 places for extra strength.
An extra set of smaller brackets are included:
- With every pack, a smaller set of brackets is included with each purchase.
- They can be fitted to banisters that are shaped unusually with a limited flat surface area.
- Dimensions are 2cm x 5.5cm.
- You can also use these to reinforce the standard brackets or as spare brackets so you can use the baby gate in more than one place without transferring brackets.
- Be mindful of the position of the brackets on your baby gate. They should not be so low as to provide a climbing foot-hold for your child.
- Like a lot of baby gates available on the market, be aware that this gate has a bar at the gate opening which may cause a trip hazard. Do not use as a barrier at the top of the stairs or consider using a large size which sections of the top of the stairs and the entire area - well back from the top step.

Every angle and corner is rounded on this stair gate as an additional safety feature.
Non-toxic coating:
No harmful chemicals are present in the paint coating on this metal gate.
COMPLIES WITH EN STANDARDS:
Independently tested to EN standards 1930:2011 as a baby safety barrier.
Removes from the wall and fold up for easy storage.
Unmount for the wall, adjust the angles so that the panels are flush with each other and it will fit in the cupboard or under the bed!
Baby proof locking system.
The gate is opened via a baby proof locking handle, that you can still open with one hand. The gate locks in place at both the handle and at the underside of the door panel for double strength.
Extend if needed.
Extend with 20, 28, 49, 70 or 90cm panels if required. You may also find that the best fit for you, is to purchase a smaller gate with 2 extensions.
