FLOOR BRACKET INSTALLATION
WARNING!
- Please read the instructions in full before installation.
- These door stoppers should only be used in addition to the Multifit Wall Brackets and should not be the sole method of securing the baby gate/ fireguard.
- Not suitable for use on carpeted, painted, uneven or textured floors or floors or surfaces that are not fixed firmly in place and/or are damaged.
- Not suitable for heated floors
- Only suitable for wood or tiled floors.
- Check reguarly to ensure these brackets are fixed in place
- Clean and dry area before applying thoroughly.
- Not for repeat use, once removed they cannot be used again unless screws are used.
What comes in the box?
1 x Large floor bracket ( for gate fram only nb*)
4 x Segment floor brackets.
installation:
1. Clean the floor area throrughly ensuring area is dust and partical free. Wipe totally dry.
2. Ensure the gate is positioned exactly where you want it before applying. Once applied they cannot be repositioned.
2. Identify the larger floor bracket for the gate section. Peel and stick the floor bracket on the base and at the centre of the frame pushing firmly. NB* You should never use the larger floor bracket on a smaller segment as it could create a dangerous pinch hazard for your child due to the part allowing free space.
3. Repeate step 3. with the smaller floor brackets at the centre of each segment. At least 1 floor bracket per segment.
****DO NOT TEST THE ADHESIVNESS FOR AT LEAST 24 HOURS****
REMOVAL:
Apply gentle heat to the floor bracket area for a sustained period to soften the adhesive.
once the adhesive is softened gently pry up the bracket. If there is no movement you need to apply more heat.
Wipe away and residue with a warm damp cloth.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE THE FLOOR BRACKET WITHOUT APPLYING HEAT AS THIS MAY DAMAGE YOUR SURFACE.
